A Bit About Me 🪩
After completing my first 200-hour training in South Africa in 2019, I went on to teach creative vinyasa and yin for corporate and private clients, both in person and online, alongside my day job in news publishing.
A year later, I found myself burnt out and no longer loving what I was offering my students. I took time away from teaching to deepen my own relationship with yoga and to truly become a student again.
I rediscovered the roots of my practice in Mysore Ashtanga, learned more about strong but accessible pose variations with Carling Harps via the Awakening Yoga system, and found confidence in my own voice through Vedic chanting and Jivamukti.
Most importantly, I came back to self-study and what felt authentic to me and the practice.
In 2024, I retrained with Becky Farbstein at Yogarise London, where I developed a beat-based approach to vinyasa with an emphasis on intelligent sequencing and genuine adaptability.
Today, a blend of traditional asana and functional movement is at the forefront of what I teach. My classes are strong but simple and encourage you to find your beat… even when there’s no music playing.
